Refresh out of uni we formed Lungfish Studio and started producing animation content for the web – Dog being on our of early creations.
Written by Henry White and Andy Siddons, we follow the adventures of Dog, a chatty Yorksire pooch armed with a never ending supply of tall tales and bitter rants.
Visuals
When developing Dog we needed a breed that would project his personality – an elegant afghan wolfhound or prim ‘ proper poodle wouldn’t fit the voice.
A dog with gowls felt like a perfect fit. After looking at boxer and pugs this stout little fella with sad eyes and chubby fingers started to form.
Backgrounds refelect Dog’s world. Pastel tones reflected the soft natural of Dog while giving them a washed out feel convayed the dreary lifestyle.
