Within Getty Images there is a creative section that encourages photographers and illustrators submit their work via their Flickr accounts. In doing so, not only does the submitter have their work featured in Getty’s portfolio, but they would also receive cash whenever their image was licensed.
A banner campaign called ‘Be Found’ was formed to promote the new feature. Be Found played on the notation, much like an actor or singer, of being discovered. A diamond in the rough that rises to success.
Staying true to Getty’s identity, visually stunning artwork and vibrant pink branding were used to given the banners impact on a webpage.
The images featured in the banner were actually Flickr account submissions – in doing so, Getty could connect with it’s audience showing value and pride in the submissions while also building a sense of community.
